This post goes along with our previous post about conquering negativity and boosting positivity in our lives. I introduced the tracking sheet that has your Fresh Start and Strong Finish routine. We talked a little bit about the fresh start and ideas that you could use to start your day fresh and fill your cup with positivity so you’re not being brought down by negativity. Now, I want you to come with me on a little journey.

Imagine a day where you use your tracking sheet and you boost positivity in the morning for a fresh start and you boost positivity in the evening for a strong finish. Imagine a day where you wake up as your alarm goes off, the first thing you do is you roll over, grab your headphones and your phone, then you turn on the scriptures and listen through the headset to the word of God. What more positive vibes can you get than listening to your scriptures first thing in the morning and getting your inspiration for the day?

Next you stretch. Stretch your muscles! Use those muscles you’ve been given–they’re awesome. You stretch your fingers. You stretch your toes. You extend your body and feel all of your muscles. It feels so good to stretch and be aware of how your body is feeling and where you’re at. Then you roll out of bed and you say a few affirmations. Like “I am happy,” “I am excited for today,” “I am going to do great things today.” Does that take a lot of time? No it doesn’t. It doesn’t take a long time.
Then in the evening, picture this. You pull out a piece of paper. You write three things you are grateful for. Such as, I’m grateful for food. I’m grateful for my house. I’m grateful for trees. Then you go outside and you take three deep breaths of fresh air. Fresh natural air. That didn’t take long but it felt really good. Didn’t it? And finally, before you go to bed you say a prayer and you thank God for everything that’s good in your life.

Those are six things that you can do everyday that take less than a minute. Wow! Doesn’t that feel good? Filling your body, mind and heart with positivity. You feel so good and it really does take less than a minute. I invite you to find ways to boost yourself with positivity everyday. Use the tracking sheet, have a Fresh Start and have a Strong Finish. Boost yourself with positivity to feel good, and as you feel good your interactions with others are going to be so much more enlightened, and people around you are going to feel good too! Remember when you help yourself, you’re helping others!
Your friend,
Maria
